
The 2026 Black Food Sovereignty Conference is taking place in Toronto, Ontario.
Bringing together farmers, food justice advocates, educators, community organizers, healers, youth, and members of the broader Black community, the conference will create space to learn, connect, share knowledge, and strengthen the movement for Black food sovereignty. The three-day program will feature training, workshops, community conversations, and a Black Farmers Tour highlighting Black-led food and agricultural initiatives.

Warrior Healer Builder Training
Participants will explore leadership, healing, community building, and the work required to build stronger and more resilient communities.
BFS Conference
Through workshops and shared learning, the day will highlight the importance of building food systems that are rooted in community, culture, justice, and collective empowerment.
Black Farmers Tour
Participants will learn more about Black farmers, growers, food producers, farmers' markets, and the role these spaces play in strengthening Black food systems and local economies.
